I know most of the FLTA's don't know me, but anytime I was in town I'd meet up with DA...we hit up ATB at Revolution way back when...had a few drinks and a great time.
He'd visit Toronto every now and then, and was always a fun guy go be around. I have nothing but good memories.
I was thinking about him today, and his passion for "pure" trance music...and I felt the need to spin him this one. My tribute to DarkAngel.
My thoughts are with his family during this difficult time. |

I remember hanging out with him at an Orlando TA party years ago before I lived in Miami. Then I saw him a couple of other times more recently at Space or Blue. Really nice guy. He started up conversations with my wife & I whenever I saw him.

Since there are people who care about Raul in this thread I will post it here.
I found out some stuff about Raul and it looks like he did try to leave a note. He wrote it on facebook and all I know is that I was tagged on it first so I am just thankful in a way he never sent it. I am also a bit thankful that it accidentally got erased. It was a draft so I am sure a refresh or sign in made it disappear. I don't want to know what the note said straight from his mouth. His niece just sent me a text message with a summary of what it said.
The depression took over and that is what drove him over the edge. I have a strong feeling it was something else which I shared with his family. They will look into it further.
I think, had he sent it, I prob would have tortured myself over and over by reading it everyday. Not sure who else was tagged or anything. It just sucks. I can't imagine how it must be for them - going through his computer is a hard thing to do. He had a specific folder with lots of pictures of him with friends. Almost as if it were set there purposely :( . The name of this folder... well... referenced his death :( |

:( I fuking wish he would have tried to talk to US (his CLOSE friends), the people who truly CARED about him.
I thought it was getting better but knowing more is making it MUCH worse. |

His niece had a look into his camera and the pictures from the BBQ in september were still there :D |

I wonder if he left his camera for the November one. Would have been nice. I don't think anyone took pictures at that one. I left my freaking camera. |
