Hey Nina, there you are. It was a wonderful pleasure meeting you and your family as well, considering the circumstance. It was also more than our pleasure to be part of Raul's memorial service. The look on your Grandmother's face and the emotions she showed to learn that her son did indeed have so many friends and people outside of his family that loved and appreciated him was indescribable. That moment will forever stay engraved in my head, as well as the warm welcome you and your family extended towards us.

Again no need to thank us for anything, it was our obligation as Raul's Friends to be there for Him and His Family. These are the moments that really count and the ones that will always be remembered.

Say hello to your family and I hope you guys had a wonderful Xmas and that you have a Happy New Year. :)

It was great finally meeting you and everyone else even though i wish i could have met you guys at the bbq. It definitely helped my grandmother and my mother to know he has such loving friends. I really hope you enjoyed your Christmas with your family and friends and i wish you a Happy New year. Although this has been a tough year i'm going to look forward to 2010 and wish for the best!

And I miss he's memorial service man I wish I would've known or would have been told about this but I dont blame anyone Ive been out for too long..

Where was the service ? where is he resting ?

I know that he's in a better place..

He truly was a good friend, We had many long talks, he was very giving, perhaps the one attribute that I appreciate from him the most.

I have received so many pictures of Raul and I. WOW!

We hung out so much that it's hard to remember them all. These pictures have brought back even more memories than I could have remembered.

:(

I still can't believe I lost such a great friend. :(

It's still unbelievable :(

I told him on msn, I think 2-3 weeks ago, that I was looking forward seeing him in March, when I'm coming over to FL.

When I'm in FL in March, maybe someone can bring me to his resting place to honor him?

Bring me too...

Melly asked me to share these here with you guys. As many of you know...

Raul shared a lot of his vampire stories and his mixes with his best friends and fans on Ourboard. Ourboard is a message board that Boomers made after we closed our big "conversation" thread on the westcoast forum back in 2004. Raul was a big part of our big thread on TA and later, a regular poster on ourboard. As someone said somewhere, he was a good soul, a beautiful person.

I for one, read and thoroughly enjoyed all of his vampire stories...and I listened to and appreciated all of his trance mixes.

I'm uploading a few of those sets...if anyone would like to listen, here are the links for dl:

Raul had a lot of fun making these sets. I'm uploading them now so give them some time to get up.

My condolences to all who loved him and treasured him.

We did. We will miss him greatly.

Word, thank you oh so much and I again am....you know what I mean but he shall never be forgotten and shall live on in our hearts from now until the end of time.I do want us all to at least get together one day during the WMC and lay some flowers at his grave side....that's the absolute least we could do as a group, just a thought.

edit-I hope I'm not out of place for saying this.

Well said milf...thank you so much nina for everything. I know things won't be the same anymore but we've got to try to be strong and try to get through this. The good memories with him will always be engraved in my mind and I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say this. Stay strong girlie xoxo <3
