Google is gonna announce the phone on Jan. 5th. Google will sell it through their own website, and T-Mobile will provide service. Its made by HTC, and has a 1 GHz processor, which is twice as fast as current android phones. Camera with flash and Android 2.1. I'm posting from my phone, so I don't have links, but gizmodo and engadget have all the info and pics, someone link.
I've had a blackberry, an iphone, and a moto cliq now...I'm hype for this thing! |

I had a blackberry with sprint, good phone. Started working at T-Mobile so I got an unlocked iphone, then I got a cliq for free through work.
I like android, and 2.0 is really awesome. Only problem is, none of the phones out are powerful enough to support the OS. Cliq is decent, as is the Droid with verizon. But this Nexus One will blaze through multiple apps open without skipping a beat (judging from the specs). |

The hardware is capable of multi-touch, there's just some sort of limitation because of Apples patent. I dunno how Palm got it on the Pre tbh. But even the G1 can do multi-touch once you root it.
Besides, multi-tasking between apps > multi-touch, imo. |
