Farewell Conan

I cannot believe that tonight is Conan's last show with NBC. I have followed the man for year's and he is THE best late night entertainer currently, IMO. It is sad that a network can just throw someone out on such short notice just for ratings. Doesn't his dedication to them for 17 year's have any weight? I realize Leno may get better rating in this time slot but a fairer agreement could have come out of this.

Anyway, just seeing how you all felt about this situation. NBC just took a big hit in my book.

Leno's gonna bust I don't know how anyone could even watch him after this. NBC will be fine except for the tonight show slot, Leno is taking it to the grave. Fallon will do fine for those who long for Conan. Conan should guest appear on Letterman.

NBC firing Sandler, Farley, and now Conan only proves one thing, that this is the time Conan's career is really going to take off.

If all else fails, Lopez Tonight over Leno/Letterman

I think it's bull. Conan appeals to the younger generations, and perhaps they don't provide as good of ratings as Leno's older audience does at the current time, I don't think it will be long before he's old news and they will need Conan back.

Not to mention, Leno = lame.

The whole thing is ridiculous and I am unimpressed. If I watched TV, I would deliberately stop watching NBC out of protest.

I had no idea you were legally blind and deaf. I will divert some of my donation to Haiti to your cause.

This has to be one of the stupidest moves in television history.

i like conan and think fallon is hard to watch, sorry brian. maybe give him some time and fallon will grow into the seat kinda like conan did at the beginning of his late night career. i still prefer letterman over the other late night hosts.

i don't think he's great like Conan, I do think Fallon will "still do fine" for those longing for Conan. And we all know the rehash leno/letterman is bored to s, that leaves lopez tonight and fallon to which based on fallon's youth I think he will do fine growing into that seat. Leno is too dry and washed up, fallon has room to grow.

I rarely ever watch late-night TV, but Conan will be fine. Getting $45 million at one time has a way of doing that. Weird, I know.

He'll be on one of the rival networks soon.
