Synths I Currently Desire (pg. 3)

I always wanted a jp 8080. It was the only VA that i never purchased.

Metasonix D1000, and 3 more modules to complete my Wiard 300 system. Oh, and the VCS3 I've been waiting several years for would be nice, too.

Beyond that, I already have everything I want, or have had it in the past and sold it because I didn't click with it. I'm pretty happy with my current setup. It's completely made up of things that I constantly use and still find interesting.

Currently restoring a pair of Nagra reel to reel recorders, though those aren't synths ;)

I wouldn't mind a :

Prophet 08 desktop
Polyevolver Keybrd

From little synths :
Alesis Micron
Kaossilator Pro

Its a real shame they stopped the production of Andromeda. Those dicks from Numark threw all the synth guys from Alesis after it was bought by Numark. Andromeda is the best analogue synth EVER MADE ... period. I had the luck to get one in a reasonable price a while back, and its the biggest crime in the synth universe to throw that kind of a project to trash ...

You might want to pick one up soon. The rumor around town is that Alesis has officially stopped production. If that's actually the case (it's been rumored before), expect prices on secondhand A6s to skyrocket shortly while they're in peak demand.

Yea I know. God damn :(

Wow - that's mighty generous of you to offer help. The CODE8OD is $5599.00, so you can either just pay for it directly and have it shipped to my place, or PayPal me the money and I'll order it. Either way works for me and I really do appreciate this, palm. Karma. :)

I just noticed that Radikal Technologies has a new upcoming synth called Hybrid Elements TBA on novamusik's website:

I don't see it mentioned on the RT website. Anybody else heard about this? Is it a scaled-down Spectralis, or something completely new?

edit: n/m - looks like vaporware that was announced in 2008:

Nothing. You're just smarter than anyone else who has ever produced electronic music, which is why you're against using any type of hardware. You should go back and tell John Cage, Morton Subotnick, Jean Jaques Perrey, etc... that they were doing it wrong.

Synthesis is for losers. Real musicians use sample packs.

I've made a pretty substantial net profit buying, using, and selling hardware. Your software and your computer has probably depreciated by 50% or more and will continue to depreciate. I find it funny. :p
