I mostly go through synths like corn chips because i'm striving for a studio full of instruments I love. I'm just about there at this moment but I'm not positive if I love the Q or not ... no rush on figuring that out, though.

I've DEFINITELY calmed down on the gear buying lately. I haven't bought anything new for about six months. But that'll all change come the summer. ;)

i loved the Q for the fact it was yellow

Here's a synth that I currently desire:

OK, so I seriously meant this:

Synth, piano, organ, clavinet, MIDI controller...drool.

What do you want a Nord Stage for? Isn't that all piano/organ sounds? The QS can do those fine enough.

It's got a built-in VA synth as well - sorta like a trimmed down Lead 3. But I mostly want it for its piano sounds, which are MUCH better than the Alesis IMO, and for its MIDI controller features, which the QS really lacks. The QS also doesn't have aftertouch. But, it doesn't really matter, I'm just dreaming - I'm not getting a new 88-key synth any time soon. :(

Well, I have the hardware ones that i need at the moment.

I have a Juno-G for normal sounds and roland sounds.
a JP-8000 for the supersaws (This is linked to the Juno-G to use the Roland Cosm effects processor)
and a Virus Ti Snow that I'm also using as sound card and sound capture due to it's good A/D converters.

My next synth will be a Nord Lead 3 but I'm waiting for the Nord Lead 3X full off great effects, this probably will be a trance performer dream. :D

Please can someone suggest me a good Nord Lead 3 samplepack?

Nord Lead 3X may be nice. But I don't see how they could improve on the 3 by throwing on crap-ass FX. After the Wave, I'm skeptical of anything they release.

Alanzo, and if you broke a NL3 knob?

Clavia still sell all the NL3 parts?

They do not but the solution is to not break it.
