Maybe rename it the iDrop, brings tears to your eyes. |
are you one of those people that has a mobile phone hanging on their neck because they are too afraid to drop it or lose it? |

For the future yes, but right now with the current market in it's infancy, and with all the setbacks, it's illogical to own an eBook reader. |
definitely wrong on that one. i'm not saying this because I feel like its a criticism in my career field nor do I feel like the print world is coming to an end. I certainly am not promoting high-priced technological gadget, but the increase in kindle's on the trains in NY have been almost 2-3 per day on my daily commute.
I bought my mother a kindle about 2 years ago, the very first edition that came out and she still uses it. It's green, it's space saving, it's easier for her to carry, it's easier for her to read from, it makes total sense to a lot of today's limitations of print. |

The only good thing that has come out of this today is AT&T will have a $15/250mb a month data plan available.
Maybe that will get other carriers to drop their ripoff smartphone data prices. Verizon offers only 25mb for $10 a month. This new plan from AT&T makes Verizon's offerings look like .
So maybe then the subscription rates for smartphones will drop across the board. And then more people can buy them. |

whats the market for that thing?
if i have a 13in laptop with an extended batter and a BB9700, why would i buy that?
ANOTHER device for music, videos, photos and email?
oh it has a book store!
If i am at home and wanted to read off a lighted display and kill my eyes i would just use my laptop
If i am on the go, lets say a 1.5 hours commute i can read on the ipod touch OR the laptop.
so? |
