i agree, as much as pvd will remain my fav, no matter who it is, it is NOT going to be good. If it is, I guess we will all eat our words.
Whoever it is, I can promise you space does not know who it is. It is one of those bookings that is controlled by PVD's agency. Space was most likely told they are going to have to pay for an extra flight, hotel etc for unnamed person. |

| What do you guys think of Jon O' Bir? Its a Vandit night but why wouldnt they just announce him? Im dying to see him live! |

My guess...
Alex MORPH
Only other "Big" name from Vandit and all of the other real BIG names are playing elsewhere...we'll see, typical Space BS. |

Paul van dyk's agency made the original flyer, not space..... hence space does not know who the special guest is. |

| Trust me i know...I live in miami i deal with it weekly...But Space has never let me down for WMC so im expecting a really big name...bigger than Morph and O'bir. Can't wait to see GO though!! |

Alex MORPH is supposed to be playing @ Nocturnal same nite so I highly doubt it.
The party next door @ Nocturnal > Space.

Where is everyone getting the idea that it's going to be a "big" name? Just because it says special guests? I mean, don't get me wrong, for the sake of those attending I hope it is. I just think it's wishful thinking is all. Eddie Halliwell is in the states the week before, so that is the only big name I can imagine, unless it's somebody off another lineup. I can't imagine why they'd wanna keep something like that a secret though, with all the other parties happening on Saturday night. There's only three reasons why they would keep it unlisted:
#1 - It's an exlusive artist from Ultra. But nobody really fits? I don't know if anyone like TCM or IM would open up for PVD, or anybody else on that list, for that matter. Plus, as far as rumors go, the list of djs who like PVD is rather short.
#2 - It really is somebody huge, or cross-genre, or both... and they are trying to build the suspense before an actual huge surprise, or even going to keep it to themselves until the party. But that begs the question why. It wouldn't be a big deal if this was PVDs only night there, but with him playing the night before, I'd think you'd wanna guarantee the door by announcing it. I guess that PVD probably is able to pack it anyway though. Still, it's gotta be just a little frustrating to those who are trying to make up their minds.
#3 - It's somebody who's not a big draw, so they are trying to build excitement for the party by listing it as "special guests". This could apply to any number of djs out there including the Vandit artists like MORPH and O'Bir.
So which of those scenarios seems most likely? It sounds like everybody is hoping for #2, because #1 doesn't seem likely, and #3 would be a big disappointment to most. |
