| If I remember correct, Last year they did the same thing, first they had the tickets on sale with the entire artist lineup then they had only the main room artist and after they had on sale the combo tickets. I remember because I hesitated to buy the tickets when all artists were listed, and someone who bought that ticket got the combo without paying more. So I assume people who bought the tickets before “the main room only” got the combo? Let the mystery continue :haha: |

The mystery is solved. If you bought a ticket and thought it was a combo ticket because it listed all artist and all rooms when you purchased your tickets then you were sorely mistaken. Now it makes a lot of since why wantickets has forced clubs to use their own credit card vendor because wantickets was tired of all the chargebacks.
Keep in mind I do actually have a print out of the event listing that says space mainroom, terrace, and loft on one event before space edited the listing. These e-mails are in regards to Saturday March 27th but I am sure it is the same for every night.

My apologies if this comes off as a personal attack, it is disgust for the stance wantickets has chosen to take in incidents like this. Thank you for ignoring the first question, an obvious admission of what occurred. Please see attached photo for proof of what I purchased. So what do you charge ticket fee's for if you take no responsibility for your clients actions? I think you need to escalate this issue to someone else before I make an inquiry to the better business bureau and the attorney general. It is not my responsibility to control space's actions, It is yours, you accept that responsibility when you provide a place for vendors to sell their tickets and in return make money off of it. If wantickets does not like it you need to quit dealing with space or put some limits on what they can edit.

Are you telling me that after I bought my ticket, space edited the original listing so my ticket that was for all rooms when I purchased it, has now turned into a one room ticket?
Do you even know which room my ticket is valid for, because it does not say.

We are not responsible for changing the event description, for setting prices, or for posting the event at all. The added the PVD event and the they added the terrace event as a separate one. We are not responsible for this or have control over it.

Sylvana, you need to re-read my original question. I realize there are two separate tickets now but when I bought it there was only one available for Saturday and it said mainroom and terrace.

When i ordered it, it said main room and terrace (i printed out the original listing as I do all of my purchases for record). Now I notice it only mentions the terrace and another event was added for the mainroom. This event was not even listed at the time of purchase.

sounds about right. i would of taken the exact same approach. i hope you do actually file a claim with the better business bureau though. someone needs to.
does everyone now understand why some of us were so skeptical about these tickets though from the very beginning? even after that email came from space saying it was going to be all access, i still didnt want to believe it. and here we go. this is why. i hope more people bother wanttickets about this though. maybe then they will get fed up with spaces bull. |

I honestly think that if you show up with both tickets, you are going to have to choose the party you want to go to. When you are ready to leave that party, you will have to exit, and get in line for the other party, where you will eventually have to pay the difference in price of what you paid and what they will currently be charging at the door (a lot). The best you can hope for is that a combo ticket comes out, then they will have wristbands on hand for those with combo tickets. Then if you have both tickets, you will be able to get a wristband and move freely. I expect combo tickets to come out at some point, but if they don't, then they will not have wristbands, meaning there is no way to grant you access to the entire club no matter how many tickets you have.

last year I had "before 12" pvd ticket that was purchased as soon as they came out. After a few price increases, a combo ticket emerged, but sold out pretty quickly, and I didn't get a chance to get one. When I went to get the ticket at the store, imagine my suprise when it turned out to be a combo ticket..... for $40!!
We think it was a mistake, and haven't heard if this happened to anyone else. Does anybody have their pvd tickets in hand now (mail)?? Wondering if anybody has a combo ticket by accident again.
In any case, it is pretty much understood that the tickets are seperate according to rooms. Otherwise, they would never be able to maximize profits. They would have to sell a certain number for the entire club, but then for example, maybe when PVD is playing, the main room would be rammed, with too much empty space upstairs.
So hopefully a combo ticket comes out, and if not, then it will be much like it was two years ago..... with PVD finishing up, and Sander K about to go on, everybody gets the idea that they want to go to the terrace, so the stairwell entrances get crowded, with bouncers holding back the crowd because of capacity issues upstairs. So they wait for people to leave, or sometimes the hefty bribes from those desperate enough to pay the bouncer's rent.
Clusterf*ck...... it's getting to be an embarrassment that this place shares a name with that wonderful club overseas.

Also, wanttickets has no say on this and I wouldn't believe anything that comes from them, because, come friday night, Space is in charge, no matter what. |

Never. Space has never done anything like this and they are not a stupid club.
I am going to guess they will give you 2 wristbands. How else would they differentiate btwn who got terrace tickets, and who got mainroom tickets? Unless.. they have 2 seperate entrances. Who knows.. |

yep. two separate entrances is what it is. they said terrace/loft peps gotta go in through the back.

They have been utilizing the front and back door as different entrances for their bigger events lately. Since the back door is right at the steps for the terrace they are able to control who goes where more efficiently than a bottle neck at the door in the mainroom to go up to the terrace.
