Vikings don’t have auto turrets, that’s the ravens(?).

Viking harrass is best when they have their auto-turrets to drop. I don't know how well it works against Toss, but as a Zerg, I know that my Mutalisks are up and running by the time Terran has 1-2 vikings.



That being said, who's the highest ranked SC2 in Ta right now? I'm a top 10 Platinum zerg.


I'm #14 or so in Diamond for quick match 3v3...And I play random :)

True. Then Vikings just suck against Zerg.

you guys heard about the new patch that's coming out in a week or two? they're nerfing the zealots from 32 seconds to like 38.. thank god, those zealot rushes were deadly as .

Lowering BC and Ultralisk damage, but buffing the Ultra so that buildings take splash now.

Increasing Reaper build time and Zealot build time by 5 seconds.

Nerfing tank damage so that they aren't the dominate ground unit that they currently are.

A few more things I can't remember right now, and a few things I'm sure they'll implement without giving us advance warning (I see extra changes coming to the Reaper).

They're the best anti air in the game (unless you count psi storm vs banshees/mutas sometimes).

They also eat colossus.

On the zealot nerf though... this is going to make PVP even worse. Because when you see a big enemy army coming to your base... you'll have even less units made in the same time.

They may be the best anti-air (flying) unit in the game, but they still suck against Mutas. Nothing makes me happier than a Terran who goes vikings to counter my mutas harrass, it's wasted resources against a muta group. I often come across 10 vikings going against my 8-9 mutas only to watch all 10 viks die while my 5-6 leftover mutas run wild on mineral lines. Those resources are much better spent on marines, turrets, and a thor or two just to keep me honest.
