No, think you're confusing it with an often complete lack of shame...
But seriously, the clock is ticking and if you don't get your life in order by the time you're 30, there will not be enough savings to ensure an independent immediate future and any kind of reserve for retirement. Then, as they say, you will be in a world of crap. |
Eh. That is a possibility but a remote one. I have a world of inheritance... Of course thats no honorable way to live and if I ever have kids thats not the greatest example to set (though I guess its better to have money and do nothing than it is to be poor and do nothing). |

You're an idiot if you think an inheritance will change you life for the better, not only are you going to be grossly under equipped to manage the money, you're also betting on your siblings not getting it all and on top of that, dead parents.
My mother left me an inheritance I really didn't expect, I was already very financially independent, but I ended up with more than anyone else probably out of my mothers guilt for numerous things and I put parts of my life on hold to look after her. As a result I've got a half sister who hasn't spoken to me for well over 9 years now, a step father that hates me and several nephews I've not even seen.
Good luck with that... |

Actually I have a very nice family dynamic. I get along really well with my mother and father, and I have one brother, who though we often fight, is still my brother and our grievances go no deeper than a superficial level with each other. I really do not foresee any problems.
My mom and her mother and sisters, when that hits the fan... :nervous: |

It's an incredible deal!
Personally, I found that moving out of my norms and into an entirely new environment really shoved me into getting my life in gear. I could no longer hold onto what was familiar and excuse myself for not doing the things I wanted to do due to the array of commitments and excuses I could come up with. Since I didn't know anyone and didn't have any connections to anything, I had no other option than to actually do something with my life.
Anyway, hopefully you will get the same boost to get going. You not only have the safety net of family, but you have no reason not to actually go to school, especially with the sweet deal your Aunt is offering.
So although you are often a dick monkey to me and as such, I don't particularly like you, I still hope for your sake that this will get your life on a better track than it apparently seems to be on now. :) |

I guess it doesn't matter cause I already made the commitment, and would be rude to back out now, and also stupid...
Anyway, I finalized all my stuff to move to Seattle at the start of next month to do some classes. Going to be living with my aunt and uncle, they have a big basement room that they have turned into a bed room. A bunch of my other cousins have stayed there while they did school or started work, or stuff like that.
Rent is probably free (or very close to free), its in an incredibly nice neighborhood and close to the down town area (I could walk to the down town area pretty easily, like a half mile to a mile at most, though up and down some big hills).
Only thing is it doesn't have its own kitchen or bathroom. :( For some reason that is sorta making me feel put off, but oh well...
Good deal or am I just looking for excuses to not do . :tongue3 |
Which neighborhood you in? |

| we could be like neighbors sooner rather than later i might cease being a real adult and find myself back in the pacific northwest...anyway if you come from a big city it might be boring but like me may be a much needed rest. |

I come from ing Tacoma.
Don't get me wrong, Tacoma is a fine place to be 45+ with a wife or family, but there is nothing to do here really on weekends or at night... Unless you wanna get jumped at a military bar in Lakewood or roughed up by thugs at some other place. :p
J/K its not that bad, still boring though. |
