So what's the with the public soul-searching and personal epiphanies? Don't you have a diary or something? God.

Well yeah, TA. Somebody's got to fill her void. Or something like that.

//Psh, only half the I described applies to me. Always talkin' like you *know* me!@

change is more of a mental state which from the sound of you are ready for, while nou on the other hand I expect more of the same.

Nobody is doomed; everyone can change. But they have to have a reason to. If you think you can lead a fulfilling life sort of floating around, doing whatever you like on dad's dime, I think you're dead wrong because you are going to reach a day when your body begins to tell your mind that something is completely wrong by way of failed ambition and axed self-efficacy.

I feel like such a ing hypocrite asking questions that I, myself, have not resolved, but is who you are right now what you envisioned yourself as when you were younger? I don't mean to light any fires because this has nothing to do with me, but I am reaching a point in my personal life where it's becoming imminent that I am going to have to bring about big changes, myself - the whole waiting around, passing on fantastic opportunities thing, just waiting for that perfect thing to fall into your lap is the exact opposite of progress and healthy change. And I don't mean to condescend at all, but trust me when I say that your life will catch up to you, and if you are not ready, you're going to take a one-way trip to depression-ville, no matter how many safety nets exist in your life, they will dissolve before the stark reality that you've wasted your most potent years chasing realities that will never exist.

*takes a deep breath*

I love the way you write.

Changed it twice today... :wtf:

Thanks Hal. I do have a superiority complex because most of the people I come across are vastly inferior to me. I know that sounds like a self-fulfilling criticism, but I think its true. Its not that I choose to be around inferior people either (thats something my brother does for an ego boost), but just in my general day to day.

I have considered what would happen if I didn't have the safety net of my family to fall back on, and well I'd be a totally different person I know that for sure because of things I have done in the past where if I didn't have the parents I have I would be in a world of hurt. This in turn has lead me to have a somewhat cocky, arrogant attitude, but unlike a lot of people I have the wits and knowledge to back it up, which lets me get away with a lot of . :p

I have always wanted to be leader, not a follower, but I am too lazy to do either most times. My 9th grade english teacher said it was people like me who become the next Stalin (I said I'd prefer to become Lenin), but he had a bit more drive than I do. :stongue:
