The powdered cheese kind is not that great, the "premium" stuff comes with a cheese sauce. Much better :p

Some of the gastropubs out here get crazy with the mac & cheese, blending several different cheeses together, adding spices etc. The best is oven baked black truffle mac & cheese

+1 to all of that ;) I dont eat mac n cheese much anymore (since, eating it as a kid you didnt worry about diet) but if the person writing this thread likes the stuff in the box, he is going to flip over the baked-home-made-kind. two totally different mac's!

My mom makes the best mac n cheese from scratch for Thanksgiving. She uses shells, and four different kinds of cheese (grated) then mixes butter and homeade seasoned breadcrumbs for a nice crispy layer on top all before being baked in the oven.

is bomb!

Oh, I had them for the first time this February. Like all things foreign (to me) I thought it wasn't sweet enough. Do you guys have Negresco in the US?

They're sweeter and crunchier than Oreo's.

They should just call those negrO's.

Strangely enough, negro is how you say someone is "black" around here. I mean, if you say "preto" (black) it sounds like "nigger" to us :D
