Metroplex is Juan Atkins' label, the oldest one in Detroit techno. All of the "Belleville 3" (and Eddie Fowlkes) have released something on Metroplex at some point (including their aliases). It def is a party not to be missed and was seriously considering ditching the boat party for this, it's the main reason I'm going to Detroit, that sound and vibe that you def won't find on the boat.
All the info for every afterparty is in the first post of the thread with links to buy tix.
BTW, those who haven't bought tix for the festival yet, they're going up to $60 at midnight. |

I believe the boat leaves the dock @ 1 am, if my memory serves me correct from last year |

I'm leaving in exactly 2 weeks (visiting my old stomping grounds in Chicago before festival) and still don't have my DEMF schedule down yet. I hate making decisions that I know I'll regret later.
But can't focus on DEMF atm. Got my Droid Incredible via Fed Ex today & I'm distracted with my new toy. Never had a smartphone before, so I'm completely geeked. :) |
