| So, I've decided to go last minute and hurrying to plan on afterparties and hotels. Most of the surrounding hotels are booked. If someone could help me find a decent hotel for under $100 a night, I would be grateful. I am however, flexible. So far, I'm looking at the Best Western Greenfield Inn, which is about 11-12 miles from the main event :( but its $80 a night. Also, is it worth staying at Windsor? I know it's across the border but I'm not sure it's a hassle to cross over. I'm a complete noob to the Detroit area and DEMF. |

I finally was able to log in to Soundclound on my phone. Don't know what the problem was - probably my fault somehow.
Ok, this is my last post from my laptop, then I only get to read TA on a tiny screen. Heading to Chicago now, which is funny timing because of the Stanley Cup. Go Flyers!
I hope everyone has a safe trip to Detroit. Maybe I'll run into you there. I'm planning to go to the meetup spot, which I imagine may change over the next few days.
Got everything I think I need. If not, it, I've got my debit card and my paycheck in the bank.

Look through hotels.com, they still have the St Regis for $53/night, about 3 miles from Hart Plaza. DO NOT book in Windsor. |

Due to waterballoon fights, late arrivals, and check in time we decided that it's best to change the TA meet up time to the end of Idas set. We will now meet at 6 pm same location.

No Magda? I want a refund.
2nd floor was lame... Marco Carola stood in for Magda,,,but wasnt nearly as good as he was at Drumcode. Not to mention the horrible vibrations, and the sound kept cutting out.
1st floor is incredible.... mind blowing sets by all (Carl Craig, Stacey Pullen, Agoria, and Mirki Loko) wooowwww
3rd was also exceptional with Sneak and Carter
Seemed like a lot less people this year...no? |
