The 'pull yer finger out' track. (pg. 4)

Lunar Phase 7
Rank 1 vs Jochen Miller - The Great Escape.

Relatively simple track, but it has been made so well, everything from the bass to the huge synths sound amazing. And that riff is killer.

Do yo mean the use of the melody to make a track?

Not a recent one, but this track always inspires me:

Brian Eno - "A Clearing" [1982]
Viber
Mark Otten - Mushroom Therapy

Chicane - Offshore

but when im wathcing them playing there own tracks watching everyone go CRAZY that makes me wanna work harder.. usualyl it works too.
just went to future music festival and watched mat zo, dubfire, above n beyond and just watching them made me wanna run home and make some music hahaha :D

Same here, I get massively inspired hearing a great song played loud on a big system as it was intended, with a hundred devout fans soaking it up! The only thing keeping me from dashing home from FMF to make music was the fact that I'd miss Mat Zo, Jaytech and Above & Beyond and that I'd already fought through hordes of Prodigy bogans to get to where I was :D

As far as dance music goes, this one:

The Orb - "Blue Room" (1992)

The YouTube is just the beginning of the long version of the track, which is about 40 minutes long. Very eclectic track, with all kinds of interesting and sometimes goofy elements in it. I like putting it on and driving around for a while.

Another one that got me recently was Royksopp - The Girl and the Robot. Absolute perfection.

Absolutely LOVE this track... hmm, except maybe the fade out to strings at the end, doesn't seem to fit quite right IMO of course.

Oh, BT - Thr Fibonacci Sequence (whichever mix sasha dropped on GU013).

Classicness

Eric J
I don't think there were any other mixes of that track. Incidentally, that track had the outro heavily edited for GU013 so it would mix well with Paganinni Traxx - Zoe. I think BT must have given him a custom edit, because there are too many elements that changed for it to have been just your run-of-the-mill DJ edit.

But, yeah, pretty much anything BT does is well beyond any skill level I could ever hope to reach.

+1 for BT, when I first found ESCM and This Binary Universe I didn't make a song for 4 months, it's amazing what he can do.
