Oh snap! Thanks, just got mine as well! :D
Edit: Wish only option wasn't will call tix. Having will call tix cost me an hour in line when Digweed was there, while those with hard tix got immediate entry. But I don't see any way to purchase hard tix! :whip:
Hope this night is not Avalon clusterf*ck night again... |
yeah... you should be okay. Digweed night was one of those weird ones due to the prior event. |

hey kris can't wait to hang out with you and ryan again too! i'm hoping jim makes it out. it'll be such a great weekend. are you guys planning on doing all 3 nights? or just those 2. I'm debating SD, wondering if it might be overkill. As of right now I certainly don't have anything better to do for that friday night tho. |
We are going to SD too!! Tour de Markus is going to be amazing!!!! You should make it! Never overkill when Markus is in town!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) |

This will be my first trip to Avalon. I guess I love Circus too much.
I bought will call tix. Don was talking about the will call line being long. How early do you recommend getting there to avoid a long line? |

ok ok ok i'm gonna see what i can do about making it down to san diego. it's a trip i've been wanting to make lately anyway i'd have a couple things to do during the day so it'd def be worthwhile. :gsmile:
it's crazy to hear how many people are already planning on all 3 nights though! and jim's doing all 4 lol |

This was a one time thing when there was a previous event that was supposed to end at 12, and really ended at 1. So noone got in before then.
From past experience I would say between 11 and 12:30 it takes max 15 minutes as long as you manage to get past the guest list people (there are two lines on the south side, the left one by the wall is will call, the right one on the street side is guest list, and the two lines mix very often); when it's very crowded it helps having your printout. Any other time you really will just walk through. |

Sound system is fantastic.
As far as the DJ booth - depends on the night but you can check out photos on http://www.rukes.com to get an idea.
It's not super accessible but they usually go all out on production.
Hope you have a great time! |

Avalon can make its stage look completely different from week to week. Never know what you'll get.
keep an eye on http://ww.nightmoves.me/ -- it's down right now, but when it's up it has probably the biggest/best library of avalon recently. Rukes jsut started doing photos there again, but still hasn't been there much since he's touring with Deadmau5 a bit. |

Sound system is an EAW Avalon system (system was named after using Avalon Boston to test while being engineered). Think Ruby Skye. Same system. |
