They shouldn't be destroying film. They shouldn't be asking just anyone for ID either. But if they do, they are looking for resistance, and if you don't give them any, it will more than likely diffuse the situation.

Explain why we never see any of the police officers in any of the videos that HAVE been recorded and put on youtube taking and smashing the cameras?

I have never witnessed an officer do this in person EVER.

um perhaps because the people doing the recording are the ones who get their camera smashed and people like me decide against having the same happen to me?
