while that may be true in some cases, it depends on what you're taking.

and what's the root of the tree that cures Heroin addiction in like a week?

Well, I have not done that one either, to lazy to goggle for it but saw a Documentary on Heroin addiction and remember it was a crazy drug that cures the dope sickness fast.

Salvia is whack. Have fun. :eyespop:

I just hate the taste of it so bad. I smoked salvia once when I was faced, pretty messed up. Had an outer body experience, I was a living thinking tooth in a mouth, and everyone else in the room was a tooth as well.. felt like I just found out I was in the matrix.

Gravity also shifted on me, left-right was up-down. Pretty ed. I won't do it again.. it was interesting, but not really fun.

Agreed... it's because they are weak-willed or weak-minded. I would imagine a bit of both.

Acid is way more intense than shrooms atleast from my experiences. I once stepped on a plant and it broke the root and limbs and I heard the plant cry and my foot was snapping it's limbs

see i've heard this and i've heard the complete opposite too. i think it's just a matter of a lot of different factors coming together. one of my friends loves to shroom can't stand acid. another friend claims to be much more in control with acid and shrooming doesn't do it for him.

Perhaps a moment of weakness is what causes people to try one of the lifestyle drugs at first, but to reduce subsequent addiction to the same thing is grossly disingenuous - it's like saying people with diseases or illness just lack self-control because they cannot keep their bodies clean.

I cannot personally speak on any of the hard drugs myself, but have seen too many people near and far to me succumb to them. Everybody is weak in the face of the drug - nobody is strong, and getting over them is all too often a matter of luck and yes, sometimes determination. It is not a black and white thing in the least, despite what D.A.R.E. advocates would love for you to believe in lieu of budgets.

//I want to be clear though - I am not necessarily arguing with you at all. Addicts do lack self control, but what they need is support, empathy, candor - not condemnation, though I am not accusing you of such.
