Got a free program that will just do FLAC -> 320? :P |
If life was that simple :(.
Really easy to set up tbo:
Download FLAC Fronted - http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html
- Verify level 6
- Add Tags
- Put your FLAC there and press "Decode".
- Get your .wav
-----------------------------------------------------
Download Razorlame - http://www.dors.de/razorlame/
- Edit -> LAME Options -> Qustom Options -b 320
- Download LAME 3.98 - http://lame.sourceforge.net/
- Add the LAME into the Razorlame directory folder
- Put your .wav in there
- Press "Encode"
Get your sexy ass 16 / 20 KHz frequency 320 (check them with Adobe Audition spectral frequency if you want) |

I downloaded the FLAC frontend thing and when I try to decode it keeps telling me:
Run-Time error '75':
Path/file access error
:( |

| I am the administrator though... |

I just went into the advanced options of the file and ended up giving 'All Users Full Rights' or some .
I suck with computers :p
Thanks :)
Let me try to convert from WAV to Mp3 now.. |

To convert basically everything (AIFF, MP3, FLAC, WAV, MP4, Ogg Vorbis, maybe some more idk) download foobar2000. It is, in my opinion, the best music player available atm. It uses a negligible amount of system resources, is extremely simple to use, and converts any music you have. Something that I think is cool is that it can be made to display your music library the way the folder structure is. So, say the tags on some songs I have are messed (like the artists in incorrect, etc) it doesn't matter, it will just show up in the folder that it is in. For me, that's awesome because I have my music arranged in several folders. Say I want to listen to CLS & Wax - Feeling Good, it's just Music>Beatport>Chronicles Continued The Aftermath>Feeling Good - Original Mix
It's really a great program once you figure out how to make it do everything exactly the way you want it. It even lets you make your own keyboard shortcuts (something I know many music players do not do). Also, and this may sounds crazy, I think the sound quality is better. I swear that once I listened to a song in the Zune program and then I listened to it in foobar and it sounded noticeably different (foobar sounded sharper, more defined). |

K this is confusing me lol.
I downloaded LAME and Razorlame, but when I tell it to Encode it asks me where I put Lame.Exe
I never saw a LAME.exe
And for some reason EAC won't compress a WAV to an mp3 =/ |

Unzip the LAME and you'll get a set of files including the LAME.EXE. What I usually do is throw all the files in the Razorlame folder, and when prompted I browse to the LAME.EXE in the directory. |

Yeah I unzipped it, but I'm not seeing any LAME.EXE anywhere in the lame-3.98.4 file that I unzipped.
This is confusing o.o |
