For the record I never even said I would refuse to give blacks therapy,(just to elaborate on what you said) I just said it wouldn't make sense which it wouldn't. No black kid from the ghetto is gonna wanna see a shrink who was brought up in middle class suburbia, they can't relate, I can't relate, and they would get much more help from a black therapist who had similar experiences growing up.
Also, you people are blowing the race card way out of proportion.
EVERY SINGLE white friend I have ever had has used the N word at least once. I don't know where most you white people live (prob canada where blacks have a very different culture) but where I live its not "over generalizing". Are there a few going to work, making a living, not getting in trouble? Sure.
But think about it this way. If theres 10 piranhas in a tank, and only 6 of them are biters, and the other 4 aren't, you STILL DON'T put your hand in the tank.
Same way I don't choose to drive into the ghetto to counsel a population that is a large part criminals, what so I can get shot on my way to work or jumped by a pack of rabid bloods? that.
I stand by what I said. I don't hate blacks, I just don't tend to be friendly or have anything in common with them.
I find it hilarious the highhorse some of you are on (especially kit with his overidealized bs post) like the majority of your friends don't talk about blacks from time to time. Blacks do it all the time to whites behind their back, we do it to them, its part of having an identity and a culture, not being a hateful racist.
I don't really give a what a single person on this forum thinks about me, and maybe THATS what REALLY gets on most of your nerves. |

| it is a logical fallacy usually committed by ilk of lesser minds. They usually teach it in high school. I don't understand how you could write an essay without the fundamentals of informal logic. It usually is a required course in any arts program. What University did you attend ? I am actually curious. |

Monmouth University, private uni right off the Jersey Shore.
The only time we learned anything about logic was philosophy 101, and critical discourse, and I still don't recall the term "straw man" EVER being said, but at least I know what it means now, thanks. |
