Well it is certainly more interesting now.

Yeah, well, I apologize for the hijack, and I'll go on my way now, but I felt that I needed to correct the false bit of info that was given.

FWIW, I like the Viruses, nothing beats the real thing, but there definitely are a lot of soft synths that are more affordable and have similar soundsets and features. Carry on!

It is not everyday that we get a famous producer talking about how he made his platinum selling record here. A little bit of respect would be nice Stephen.

Hey Darude sorry about the false info I remember reading that somewhere several years ago thanks for stopping by and setting the record straight. :)

Cheers!

Oh, quit gushing. It's not like they'd ever play that song at the Super-Bowl, anyway.

EDIT: Or the Stanley Cup in San Jose!

Oh SNAP! They just played it.

Oh talking about ''DJ Stephen Willeys'' romplers is much more interesting than having the artist that made worlds best selling 12'' record in 2000 post here about his record Eddie. After all sales in the millions are an everyday thing in the trance genre. Come on now lets stay on topic please. :stongue:
Mad for Brad
the lead sound is actually a preset called sandstorm. Anyone with a jp 8000 can check this. I thought this was well known.

Is this thing on? Did you not see the artist post that the lead sound is not factory preset of any synthesizer?

Who cares man. Nothing against Darude but this is my thread and I'd like it to stay on topic. If he feels compelled to tell people how he made his tracks he is more than welcome to start his own thread. You might be a starry eyed kid who is woo'd by anybody who has success but you'll find many of us here are not because we know many people who have done big things or are doing big things.

kinda weird that the preset sandstorm which was on the jp 8000 and came out before the record and sounds identical to the lead in question. But if he says so , then my bad. Didn't realize it was actually him. song , worse video. WHy the do people run in trance videos. Is that a metaphor for serotonin levels rushing or running thru your brain as you let the trancy pants music comfort you like a nice warm glove. Rave on man.
