started out the night just barely making the reduced cutoff (even though it was past 12 yay guv!) The entire weekend my ankle was giving me the worst pain ever and it wasn't bothering me until i got to the koolhaus. I didn't dance much to start and wasn't enjoying the sound quality in there even though I was told it was a brand new system. Then my friend got an open drink splashed right in her face and eyes! ahhah the beginning of the night was really crap. Tried going up to skybar and that was not happening:wtf: Soo the best idea was to catch the last hour of PVD! man did it ever improve! not only was the sound tweaked properly Paul was pumping out the tunes I came to hear.
Maybe the sound was bad because I had my ear plugs in and was at the front, I then moved towards the back middle didn't need any plugs. As far as the search goes I too was thoroughly searched and maybe that is why the line ups were so long! I mean the lady even counted every single 20 dollar bill I brought...I was like WTF! you have no right to look at my money! I just gave her a weird look and wasn't too please about that.
Half way through Gareth's set I decided to catch the rest of Carlo and was impressed and happy to see Junkies go on and close it down! On a side note I found this girls ID right on the guv main room floor and gave it right to the bar tender (wow how can u just lose your ID like that?)
all in all a good times at guv;)

Phenomenal final party @ Guv before I head back to BC for me.
Chilled in acid lounge while my obnoxiously drunk friends could start making comprehensive converation.
Chuckie's music was great and he REALLY connected with the crowd, but definitely a little much use on the mic. We know who you are and you've told us these are your new beats several times, just let us enjoy them!
Fedde's music was great, loved the Daft Punk he worked into his mixes.
SVD & Emery's sets were great from what I saw. I simply didn't like the stage layout in KH, way too much distance from the crowd. But the music/lightshow was killer nonetheless.
Overall, great way for me to finish in Toronto before heading out. I <3 Guv.

I was comenting to Barry Rooke how PVD was paying way too much attention to his laptop and not the crowd, at least that's the way I saw it.
Another thing... ing $6 beers?????? Like WTF !!!
And what got me was that they practically force you to drop a larger tip by giving change only in toonies. I don't like this at all. Dropping $8/beer with tip in is getting way to costly. Next thing will be $5 water.

Same thing! She took a flashlight and searched between every bill I had in my wallet and I had over $200! I was ing PISSED! Not to mention the ball grab and then the remark "don't worry, your girlfriend will never know about it". HUGE WTF! Someone told me they're not allowed to search your wallets. Is this true? I'm going to look into this further!

I know how you feel. That's why I don't tip them anymore. Atleast last night they were nice enough to give me icewater from the tap, that deserves a $2 tip ;)

It was an ok night for me although I've never not danced that much in my life at the guv..and what the hell was with the old, repetitive songs?? Bennasi's satisfaction by pvd and sanchez, subliminal advertising? Kidsos, Kyau and Albert tracks also got killed that night..
Orange room was the shyt, awesome stuff in there I'm going to keep an ear out for that girl she was great.Guv needs more tribal imo.
Missed Skybar sadly, was looking forward to Lio.
However,Gareth Emery, man that guy is amazing he pounded it outtt and Mortyman ditto on Denis Zahn - Stranger to Stability (Lan Faki Mix), my sis was floored when he dropped it, she finally started moving :D
Best part was the sunlight streaming in from the smoking room outside and illuminating the zombies grooving along to sanchez, awesome photo op :D Oh and finally seeing some ta's, you guys actually do exist :O
