That skin (and others from e.g. grymjack) make it look better and easier.
You should've posted the original skin :toothless

Sytrus, it's both a subtractive, additive and FM synth. Also, it contains fully customizable enevelopes, LFO's etc., for most oscillator/filter parameters.

Alsa Modular Synth

Morphine?

I never have a clue what I'm doing when I use it.

For me, it's Nexus. I can't figure out how to make my own presets! :wtf: ;)

there's an option on the middle tabs on Nexus (near that kind of hud) where you can change the arpeggios and more things, the sound itself it's difficult to change, Nexus has a real lack of modulation but i haven't spent much time on it really to truly know if it's impossible or not to make your own sounds.

I actually heard that Nexus had a fairly complex synthesiser under the hood, but it doesn't expose any of its parameters. Which is why they can release so many new banks for it, because they don't have to resample, only change some of the internal settings in the synth.

business model IMO. But I guess some people are into it.

PS
Most of these synths are incredibly simple... Absynth is really the only complex synth outside of the modular environments like Max and Reaktor, and the modular synths like Moog Modular and Aturia ARP2600. Stuff like superwave, Oatmeal, whatever, are basically just variations on the whole 2 filters, 2 oscillators, 4 envelopes theme.

Abysnth at least allows you to create an envelope for every parameter with up to 64 breakpoints, has a massive modulation system, and has 15 different ways to change the sound coming from the raw oscillators.
