That song is insta-buzz kill. It has the effect of me wanting to run out of the room immediately, or if that isn't possible, it makes me want to smash everything in sight.

It's the new Put Your Hands Up for Detroit.

I'm not sure if I'd place La Mezcla in the same category as "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit."

That Fedde Le Grand track was being played on z103 all day long for the longest time... and to think the first time I heard it was at CZ.

La Mezcla hasn't hit the radio(at least I don't think it has), and is not nearly as played out. It's a good song though i've had enough of the original as well. I personally still appreciate the Kalkbrenner remix and the Riva Starr one is good as well.

the combination of the whistling and vocals in la mezcla feels like a drill digging into my brain :disbelief :disbelief

whoever played that track at CZ needs to be banned from ever dj'n there again. disgraceful!

haha, well when it was played at zone i remember everyone going nuts.. this is when electro was big in toronto and the song Put Your Hands Up For Detroit was unheard of by many... definitely by the mainstream clubbers, until a year later...

but i know what you mean man lol..

la mezcla is a quality track! of course the sample might irritate some people... one of the tracks that I heard the most last summer.
