The vast scale of Afghanistan’s mineral wealth was discovered by a small team of Pentagon officials and American geologists. The Afghan government and President Hamid Karzai were recently briefed, American officials said.

Then watch this:

This is foreshadowing for Afghanistan; and perhaps an underlying reason behind US involvement within that country.

P.S. This is my view on things:

Modern warfare isn't about terrorism; that is contemporary bull; propaganda if you ask me

it is about resources which are limited and will not and cannot be reproduced because humans don't know how to ing create vast amounts of raw elements.

Oh joy. More raping and pillaging on the planet.

If this is true, we should be hearing from Osama soon. Saying that the US should not touch the resources of Afghanistan and what not.

Thing is... even if we tried to change how things are today. Years to come it will be the same problem

Fire = Elemental in the weapon, Fire = Elemental in the armor and Master Command = Added Cut.

So everytime you use an item on yourself, you also hit yourself, and because you attack with the same element that you absorb you heal yourself everytime you use an item!

You can even fullcure yourself, if you use that combo with your ultimate weapon.

If anything about Osama is being spouted out of anyones frap trap you can be assured the CIA is in the act. The CIA will have the use of propaganda to manipulate the ignorant masses into justifying their means.

Feel free to read this on what the CIA planned to do for the war in Iraq

What I find quite interesting how so many people just voice their view on the whole Globalization and what not. Also on how corporations are ruining everything. People need to stop talking and need to start acting. Some good old civil disobedience is needed. Anarchy our friend but no one wants to get their hands dirty or have blood on their hands. Most of us are pacifists and hope for the best.

How many politicians are there? How many execs and corporate people exist? Sucks that they can hide behind police and the army. I'll say a crazy figure its 1 billion against 6 billion (anti-globalization... people that dont care... people that care about their rights)

Unfortunatly countries that get mistreated like this don't have much of a voice in the global world. It's only countries like Darfur that have mass genocides that seem to get any international attention, furthermore we as american citizen's don't vote on things that happen in XYZ country. That's part of the power play that this guy is talking about. cool vid, i think viral political uproar's like this that are logically presented hit home more than the extreme ones. He could have used more specific examples and facts to win over the nay-sayers though.

People these days are passive or maybe passive agressive, as there are too many distractions. Pacified with too many connections plugging up free thought and intelligence. Everyone has a pacifier in their mouth, between ipod, myspace, facebook, cellphones, computers, there is no room anything that requires some form of conscious ethical moral movement to get government to change their ways. The days of courage and movements towards the common good of not only America's people but the World's people are over, replaced by a well distracted, pacified and conditioned people. There is also a heavy displacement in power between the Government and the People it governs, and that displacement seems to be growing. Everything the constitution seems to have been about has been reversed in many ways.

Just look no furthur than idoru, pkc, Sushipunk, great little piglets.

so, its your position that

-the US had knowledge of the geological riches of afghanistan
-as luck would have it a bunch of islamic terrorists who effectively controlled a fair % of the country attacked the US
-which gave the US a reason to invade afghanistan to build mines and pillage the metal wealth
-and then decided to sit on their asses in the country for 9 years not doing anything with regards to said precious metals

does that about sum it up in your world?

and let's not forget all the oil that the US is pillaging from iraq, which they've been very cunning in disguising by making it look like the russians are really the ones making deals:

http://en.rian.ru/business/20100131/157730220.html

from your own article

quote:

At the same time, American officials fear resource-hungry China will try to dominate the development of Afghanistan’s mineral wealth, which could upset the United States, given its heavy investment in the region. After winning the bid for its Aynak copper mine in Logar Province, China clearly wants more, American officials said.

Another complication is that because Afghanistan has never had much heavy industry before, it has little or no history of environmental protection either. “The big question is, can this be developed in a responsible way, in a way that is environmentally and socially responsible?” Mr. Brinkley said. “No one knows how this will work.”

With virtually no mining industry or infrastructure in place today, it will take decades for Afghanistan to exploit its mineral wealth fully. “This is a country that has no mining culture,” said Jack Medlin, a geologist in the United States Geological Survey’s international affairs program. “They’ve had some small artisanal mines, but now there could be some very, very large mines that will require more than just a gold pan.”

this, all for a war which has already cost what, near 1 trillion dollars so far? why all the time and effort- why not just have given the 1 trillion dollars to the shadow government who made the US invade afghanistan in the first place? that's 9 years of lost investment/revenue opportunity for the ones pulling the strings. not very good super-rich corporate controllers if you ask me.

prove to me that the US is getting ANY financial advantages from iraq or afghanistan that isn't dwarfed by the costs of being there in the first place.

prove to me that the US knew of this hidden metal deposit(s) back in 2001.

prove to me that you're not an absolute cretin.

another shining example of the brilliance and successes of the all-knowing, all-powerful, all-controlling agents for the world's elite shadow government.

So you're one of the courageous ones, right? You're one of the few without pacifiers?
