Frankly, I always found folks who wore little white ear buds to be the bigger douches. Nothing was a bigger status symbol than letting others know that you had an iPod. So what if the sound was comparatively crap? I got an iPod! |

Because they're more convenient/light/take little space?
I have a pair of Koss earbuds. Not awesome, but I mostly use them while on the bus/plane etc. |

| I bought my Beats by Dre Solos so I could do this. They fold up great, with a carrying case, and aren't too big to wear in public. |

I don't listen to music in public because I hate having to drown out the ambient noise by cranking up the volume.
But if I were going to, I would have no problem wearing large headphones. What's so "douchey" about wearing them in public, anyway? |
