Im always humble when I talk about San Jose. My expectations cant get much lower. Just make the Playoffs...after that its a wish and a prayer....just like the last 10 years lol.

Well, aug 18 the NHL11 demo comes out. That will be my fix until the whole game and the season starts. So they shot down the Kovalchuk contract and hes now a UFA right? Where do you think he will go? Id like the Kings to get him. I think thats what the Kings need to get back into the race.

I still play NHL10 often. Its the only way I can see San Jose win a cup.
It looks like the game is evolving every year. A big tweek Im looking forward to is check animations on the fly so you wouldnt see the same 7 check responses. We will have stick/gloves falling onto the ice and hopefully some bone crunching variety of people getting rocked. I dont play online too much but there looks to be a new mode that almost like a fantasy draft team exept it uses packs of cards so you wont have 4 killer lines. Sounds interesting to me. Its called Ultimate mode or some . :toothless

i don't play online. i build my team with a few minor tweaks and manage maybe to get through a full season + playoffs once before the next one comes out...after that it is just drunken vs battles with friends on boys night.
not too much of a gamer type here.
i've been playing the nhl series since the first one, so i just can't really stop though can i? supa nintendo sega genesis, when i was dead broke man i couldn't picture this.
