It's funny, Devin never responds to legitimate questions about stuff, but all of the sudden he's talking away. |
I respond to a lot of things, more then most promoters out there. Truth be told though when events get posted a lot of the time it not being posted by me personally but by one of our staff under my account. On top of doing Liquified I also work a 50 hour a week job doing graphic design and I am also a father and husband. I don't have tons of extra time to be on forums and such but I try and get around and read as much as I can and respond when I can. |

He's a human being.
Liquified is not "the man."
Go to a few shows that aren't the filled-with-douchebags scene you like and meet the human being. |

Once you reach the inner core, after many years of searching approaching the manifest destiny, you may die; I just hope you're prepared.
Chomping at the bit until the very end of it is raw, rough, and bleeding.
That's when you'll find out it's all a façade. But you'll continue to go anyways. |

| Devin has always responded to any issues I've had. Maybe not always instantly, but I've never felt overlooked or neglected. I'm not gonna blame him for something that isn't any fault of his own. |

Liquified responds a lot, but I've noticed most of his responses deflect from the actual issue and he tries to play it coy. It is what it is. If I'm the only one who thinks videos of a music event should contain music from the events, then it is what it is.
Next time you should use video of a few dudes on their phones sending text messages and typing little notes of songs. At least those dudes can actually hop on youtube or whatever the following week and relisten to songs from the night. Something your video doesn't do much of.
And how about the time after that, you use a video of the police showing up and making hundreds of people go home because a riot basically broke out? I mean, since you want to show everyone having a fun time, how about you show everyone having a ty time too? Contrasting videos would go really well together!
And then the next time how about you use a video of your security taking someone from the DJ's table in the VIP area into the backroom and beating him for no reason? You know, a video to kind of show the end of ing trance events in Atlanta after you ing idiots get sued and hit with a ton of criminal charges?
Those 3 videos plus the one you already showed are really relevant to a ing music event, don't ya think? |

He wears acid-wash UFO pants and a well-worn visor upside down and in a scorn defiance.
A tattoo of the Tiesto crucifix on his topgraphical skin atop his broad left shoulder.
He stands for what clubbing is.
In eternal waves. |

Someone is all worked up here, take a breath. My comment about IDing stuff was just show what a smart ass comment could of been. I never started with a smart ass comment. I have no problem if you don't like the video, i'll get over it ;) .
Just so you know I'm not being sued for criminal charges. Hagens thing is not being directed towards Liquified. I reached out to Hagen the very morning after it had happened and him and I were in contact with each other. |

lol touché
I don't see what the big fuss is about the video. Perhaps calling it a recap is not the best choice of words, but that's splitting hairs. The fact remains that it's not a music video. It's a promotional video. You need to show the DJ having a great time, the women having a great time, and the entire crowd having a great time. The video did that. About the track picked... I can see Markus playing that track.

I know that was meant as a diss, but at least he's there for the music, not to be another random clubber. If I was better at it, I'd be doing it too. It's funny, Devin never responds to legitimate questions about stuff, but all of the sudden he's talking away. That video, whether it was approved by Markus or not, shows the state of these events for what they truly are. Those guys iding tracks are some of the few people there for what they should be, to listen to some good trance music. I would guess 90 percent of the people there couldn't id a single track. |
Does it have to be about knowing the music and IDing tracks? Maybe IDing tracks is relevant to the nerds like us, but most people are out to have fun and could care less. Honestly, when I am the DJ, I rather have people dancing than standing around IDing tracks. It's called electronic DANCE music for a reason. |
