check our thread in site suggestions. I think it began in 2003 or 2004 :p Boomer bumps it occasionally still, me rarely these days but it was like a joke that when one of us posted, the other had to. Back then though, MD was absolutely full of md spam, from behind the decks with dave piazza to whatever ETN or Party107 were throwing on at random hours. |

The site needs a redesign, the forum needs a redesign, the forum needs new software, there's loads of sub-forums that need to be deleted. I'm sorry Swamper but TA at the moment is way, way, way outdated. I'm all for old-school but there comes a point where evolution is better.
Another forum I'm at moved to new software and cut with the past except for having an (optional) "old-school" skin. Everybody bitched about it at the time, but nobody wants to go back now. |

I agree on the move to vb3 from vb2 -- however, there are a lot of things that are in the process of being re-coded to fit in there and lots of tweaks to vb3 that need to be done to keep the speed the same. It may not be apparent but there are lots of custom things in here (event listings/guestlists/unknown tracks/etc.). It's surprising but even forums 10x the size of TA (i.e SomethingAwful) have remained on the same (old) version of forum software that TA runs. |

| i dont know man, this forum is pretty good already. the forum part, the main page i never frequent, maybe you could make that more attractive to users. maybe add a techie/gadgets section, a lot of people ask for computer help around here. |

There is (was?) one. Its filled with spam bots. Also the funny stuff forum section used to be really active and then it just all sorta filtered into the COR.
Too many stupid people that can't figure out where to post the right . Just part of the general decline in intelligence and effort by internet users over the last 10 years. |
