I think it would make sense to calculate the statistics in a multi-answer poll like this differently. It should show the percentage of how many people who voted include the respective option, and not, like it does now, the percentage of total votes.
It just makes more sense. Look at the poll now, 4 people voted and everyone included the first item, yet it only has 4 %. That clearly should be 100%.

A lot of the activity the main forums get is a product of the draw the local ones have. Swamper could probably confirm this, but I would assume that there's a substantial amount of traffic that comes here from google results for event info (maybe part of the reason for standardizing event thread formatting). Also, having even the presence of those forums prevents people, whether they post in or view regional forums frequently or not, from seeking out another forum (specifically for local info). |

Still haven't figured out the proper balance between something like this and it's effect on 'Roll Calls'.
