Captcha for bots would be good. Stu for cor mod would also be good.
Other stuff, too, though. I like the shoutbox idea. Or some sort of chatroom thing. I don't know, though. I'll probably go with Stu for full admin.

i strongly disagree with this. it's not that i have some alternate personality on message boards, but i would never want a potential employer to do a google search on my name and find out that I have posted 5000+ times on a electronic dance music message board. there are some misconceptions of trance and edm in the mainstream, you know. |

I can see your point. the other boards are more profession orientated. on the other hand if the board requires you join before being able to read then it wouldn't show up on google. you be surprised how many ppl in the world have the same name. |

I'd say restructuring the forums and removing/combining subforums would be a good idea. As it is, there's a ton of subforums hidden way at the bottom which makes people just post in the first two. |

You have to be careful with that.
One of the reasons that this forum flourishes (in my opinion) is because of it's relaxed moderation style, and lack of 'specified' rules. It's left up to the user's common sense as to what they think should, and should not, be posted. In most of TA's sub-forums, this is barely a problem at all. The COR, mind you, is a different animal to the rest of the place :p
I do agree that there needs to be more active moderation in the COR though. Some pretty funky stuff goes down here, lol. |
