This is great news for K/W!!!

Word of advice to BETA - Don't let ChemEnhanced's negativity spoil your plans. He posts on here over 5 times a day and most of his posts are negative. Anytime somebody tries to open a club in K/W, he's the first to say it will never work. Stay in Milton then and host your own parties.

Anyways, Can't wait to see Sydney Blu on the 27th... she always put on great shows @ The Guvernment.

I'm not being negative at all...I've wished them all the luck in the world. I spent the first 25 years of my life in Kitchener and I've seen clubs come and go who've tried to run EDM and they have all failed. I think they should know what they are up against and over 15 years of clubs failing tells me this will fail to. I have friends who tried to get it to work and it hasn't. The only reason a place like purple room is still around is because its inside another club. There is not a large enough fan base for it to work and once university is out the fan base is even smaller.

Once the honeymoon stage of the club is over people will stop going unless you play what they want to hear...and that is top 40.

Can you name me one EDM club in KW that has survived more then two years?

Beta
BTW, EDM today can not be compared to EDM of 15 years ago.

Furthermore, can you name a club that has actually properly invested in the venue, a proper lineup and marketed properly.

As Steve Angello recently said commercial music and EDM are on a collision course and the result will be called music.

Things are changing, I have never seen a venue in Waterloo invest any money or create a proper venue.

Anyways, I do honestly thank you for your well wishes. BTW, Purple room is a room not a club :)

What are your plans for when university is out?

You have about 20,000 people in the 19-30 age range that live in the KW area. You have to find some way to get that population to visit your club. It will be difficult when only a small portion of that population is actually going to be going out on any given friday or saturday.
