I don't know but I assume BBR finds other ways to bring income in during the summer to help offset the slow times.

Beta appears to be putting in some serious money into renovations and such so depending on how fast they want to recoup the money will affect what decisions they make going forward. If their top 40 night brings in twice as much as their house night...how long will they keep the house night going? I know I wouldn't keep running a night that doesn't make me as much money when I have a lot of debt to recoup.

I don't know. There's a LOT of clubs in Windsor. And the vast majority of them have been around for a long time. And it was only recently that BBR started doing boat cruises in the summer.

I could see BETA switching to top 40 all summer, and throwing your odd EDM event.

And that has been my real issue this whole time. Its not that the club will survive....I'm sure it will....but will they continue with a dedicated House or EDM night.

dude why don't you just relax and just wait it out and see what happens. i mean seriously, I thought I was a a cynical person.....
Abercrombie
BBR has the Detroit market too... HUGE advantage in staying afloat all year 'round.

When I went there once, there were a lot of Americans from Detroit that I met, that go because they are of age in Canada, but not the US. They can get faced legally 2 years earlier in Ontario.

I'm very relaxed... I just spent two weeks cruising the Caribbean. I see no problem in having a healthy discussion on whether or not a club in KW will continue with a House/EDM night long term.

It's one night. If you do say 70% top 40 nights then the 30% EDM nights it won't be that bad at all.

Fair enough but all we notice on here is your cynicism which sometimes can be healthy but if it's all we ever see you type it can get very tiring. :p

Fair enough but I think some people on here only see what they want to see and fail to see the positive things that I've said.

I'd say it's that PLUS it's hard to see your positives when a LOT of what you post is cynical IMO. :)

Btw, anyone here going to Dj shadow at the Phoenix? FLOORED when I saw this...

You have about 20,000 people in the 19-30 age range that live in the KW area...

...just as long as any EDM club in Walkerton...but at least we can drink the water here :D

even if the estimate is actually off its not off by much when you are looking at an age group of about 6 years.

Getting sick of this guy??? He bashes Walkerton's water and then after bringing up a point of the 19-30 age range, he backtracks to say a range of 6 years.

Buddy, you're 36, I'm 34 and we still go to clubs so don't you think your numbers are a little off?

If 19 - 36 year olds attend BETA, it should do just fine... summertime or not.
