We made skittles gin last year, absolutely delicious and straight up 40% so we had one flask each and we were toasted for the whole night ahahaha.

You layer up like crazy. 3-4 layers, snow pants, proper boots gloves and a hat and scarf, and even if it's -30 (I've done Igloofest when it was around there) once you're in the crowd, it actually does get warm. I took my gloves off actually haha.. if you've never done Igloofest, its definitely a MUST. Finishes around 12, go home, shower and then hit up Stereo/Circus. |
You can't forget the ski goggles. Those are great for keeping my eyelashes from freezing. |

FYI dont wear nice shoes. cause the ground is all muddy. you ruin your shoes.

What if I come and we can keep each other warm? :stongue:
Edit: where does one stay during such a fest? I am not really familiar with Igloofest and the transportation/hotels? |

Igloofest is at Quai Jacques-Cartier (145 De la Commune Est Street) in the old port of Montreal. Hotels in that area are pricy and very high end. However, the old port is very close to downtown and pleateau. For example, you can walk from the the OPUS Hotel corner St-Laurent/sherbrooke to the Igloofest site and make it in 15 minutes. Or in 3-5 minutes, $10 cab ride
edit: although they call it a festival, it's more like 3 consecutive weekends of events on Th-Fr-Sat night.
