I agree the enviroment is a lot of fun. Its part of the experience. Last year we spent the entire day just gearing up with Winter gear for the Voorn & Fanciulli Party. Mits, Boots, Long Johns, but it was so worth it. As long as your dressed warmly...Its a blast. After a couple of those Hot Mauled Wines....You're feeling nice & Toasty! I was Sweating with steam pumping out from the back of my bald head...Maybe I was on fire. Looking forward to this year,
Seth Troxler & Carl Craig. Talk about a committed Scene we have in Montreal...troopers packing it up in the freezing cold to listen to Electronica for a few hours!

Indeed. I plan on making the trip for this. Hopefully they have something interesting at Stereo that night.

I really don't get all the complaints about the cold. The whole environment is one of the biggest draws for me. AFAIK this is something that's totally unique to the world and I find that really exciting; it's awesome to have a way to party that feels purely Canadian.

I don't think anyone can deny that being out in the cold really forces people to party hard and get into things. I've never really seen anywhere go off as much as an Igloofest crowd.

And on a nice night, with just a little bit of snowfall, it's absolutely beautiful being out there. I just find it's an environment that's so compelling, it pushes you to lose yourself and just enjoy. *shrug*

+1
I think the point is to do something different. Later think of telling friends/family you partied in the middle of a snowstorm.

Andrew Weatherall, Eskmo and Terror Danjah have all been added to the bill.

ESKMO!!! Nice one!
acronym
Huh... well Eskmo was on the Igloofest website. He's gone now. They never made an official announcement for him today, maybe they want to limit themselves to one a day?
taface
Bahh.. whatever. I love his latest album, and I would love to see him at Igloofest, I'm expecting a Amon Tobin-esque performance! If not, he'll surely be back
taface
He's back up! :)

noooob here

i am usually a trance head,so i don't know much about other djs other than trance ones.

I would like to know which djs are the must see??
I am really into tech-house and progressif,a lil bit of minimal wouldn't hurt either.

Thanks for the help
