By no means do I think that everyone needs iPads, Macbooks, and iPhones. Then again, I don't see why people looking at tablets, laptops, or cell phones shouldn't consider each of those as an option. The only conceivable rationale is one based solely on price. If that's all there is to it, then that rage comes off as nothing more than bitterness and [unrelentingly denied] jealousy. inb4hate
The fact that Macs are, in some cases, more expensive than alternatives doesn't have any impact on the quality of the machines. I've never heard anyone argue that a Toyota Yaris blows 3-series BMWs out of the water. I don't know why the logic doesn't carry over.

I'm just a technology nerd and I enjoy Apple products as well as other. I just think that Apple products works so well. I just don't get the hate. It's just a product. |

And its not like im agianst all apple products...i use an ipod (classic 80Gb) and i was thinking of buying a proper mac computer on several occasions (though i didnt), im just against useless things...which is why im against the iphone and the ipad. Well the iphone is not exactly useless, it fits the role of a Yaris quite well. |
My point was that a BMW is far more expensive, but no one relates the price to an evaluation of the car, itself. Apple products, on the other hand, are dismissed as inferior products, due solely to the price difference, whether justified or otherwise. |

Update:
The Otterbox was 100% the way to go. I haven't dropped it yet, but there have been some close calls. Hell, a lady at the airport ran over it with her luggage at the security line ("oops"...!!!) and it was still ok. The screen protector is the 1st one I've ever used that doesn't feel sticky and grab dust easily. I've avoided the Zagg stuff for a while, due solely to this.
The remote app for the apple tv is great, especially since it allows you to use the ipad's keyboard, instead. Very handy.
Jean Shop started making a pretty slick case I think I may pick up at some point, but this one's good for now. |

Word is the new iPad is coming out around march/april, depending on which rumors you want to believe.
If it has any sort of USB/storage ports, I'll probably get it. Not going to bother if it's just thinner, louder, and has higher resolution, though. |
