Howard Stern - less then 10 shows left

So not sure if there any stern fans here- but if they are jump on and share some great show moments that you remember. I really hope he re-signs I have been listening to him since his K Rock days and he has brought me many hours of laughter and joy. Now if you dont listen to him on a regular basis please curb your "hes a racist" comments - anything taken out of context is truly an un educated assumption. If you dont get his humor then fine move on. Now for those that know how great he is and how funny the show has been share your thoughts.
I went to his parade on the last show for K rock- it was a blast- it was raining - me and my boy crept our way to at least 500 ft from the main stage. It was great ppl drinking , smoking, screaming out references to the show- then all the wack pack came out to give shout outs on the mic and finally when Howard came out like a miracle it stopped raining and the sun came out- great time. |

Besides, for radio he's a sure bet, someone will take him if surprisingly he doesn't get extension.

Yeah your right who is this guy anyway?...He is only the first guy to ever bring the concept of nationwide syndication to a radio show, his show provided careers for wannabees and 2nd rate imitators (Opie and anthony, and etc etc), terrestial radio has never and will probably never see ratings like the ones he used to get. He was offered a contract for 500 million for 5 years at Sirius and he is now on his last year of his contract, throughout this time he brought MILLIONS of subscribers to Sirius- enough to actually cause the collapse and force the merger between sirius and xm. WHat other entertainer or "dj" do you know whose million of fans would pay a monthly fee just to hear him? The rumor mill is that Itunes is now offering him 600 million for 3 years- but what do they know Itunes is a mom and pop shop, right? Consumers like you know much better.
The skits /bits he has done on his show have been stolen by others to become successful and lucrative sitcoms, shows, bits etc. In the last month he has interviewed Billy Joel, Jay-Z and MArtin Scorcesse, I think they have been on OA as well right? lol. When guests visit his show they become the top google search trend for that day- but what do millions of people who use google know right?
Your awareness of his impact on pop culture shows how little your view actually counts in the grand scheme of things. I actually have sympathy for you that you never had the opportunity to experience why he truly is the king of all media. Stay with Opie and Anthony or better yet listen to the radio lol...it really is more your speed- your the true statistical minority and thankfully your vote really doesnt count....bababooey biotches. |
