When guests visit his show they become the top google search trend for that day- but what do millions of people who use google know right?
Your awareness of his impact on pop culture shows how little your view actually counts in the grand scheme of things. I actually have sympathy for you that you never had the opportunity to experience why he truly is the king of all media. Stay with Opie and Anthony or better yet listen to the radio lol...it really is more your speed- your the true statistical minority and thankfully your vote really doesnt count....bababooey biotches.
Pop Culture huh? sorry for not been "educated" on the pop culture, top 40 radio hits and artists, should I? .. for what I know everything is Crap on pop culture, and the little quality that it's out there does not represent today's pop culture, in fact, it's not really considered popular in today's standards. In other words, I don't mind not been part of pop culture. If I do, I'd be in Lollapallooza or something

Howard Stern re-signing is the best thing that couldve have happened.I am crazy happy about this. Remember, only true talent gets offered 5 year deals for 400 million - so I guess maybe other people listen to him besides me lol.
I know I wont be able to convince you how great he is the same way Im pretty sure I wont like half the mediocre watered down crap you like.

He's really not that funny but I enjoy listening to people talk about uncomfortable situations and anal sex and other inappropriate things.

This isn't really a victory for Stern. $400 million for 5 years sounds great; however, this is the operating budget he is given not what he, himself, is paid (his earnings come out of that budget). His last contract was $500 million for 5 years... so essentially this contract represents a $100 millon dollar decrease. Now, one also needs to consider the inflation... $500 million would be approximately $550 million in 2010 dollars... so the real decrease here is $150 million. I'm not sure about you but I would view a 30% pay decrease as a pretty big loss and indication that; maybe, I'm not quite as valuable as I would like to believe.

may be it's not about the money... he cares about the staff and Sirius... so to take a paycut in order to guarantee his staff a job security and to maintain his status in radio is prett honorable
