Geography wasn't a strong point of the US, the majority of the attackers on the WTC are from Saudi Arabia, a couple from UAE, Lebanon and Egypt.
Iraq and Afghanistan are 'kind of' close... kinda, well heck they're all brown so they must be up to no good. :p |

| if you didn't "avoid all the bad news" you'd be able to answer these questions yourself. |

| I have a hunch that we were trying to get into Venezuela as well. And then somehow Chavez outsmarted Bush, and we never did. If I recall, Venezuela was mentioned often by the Bush Administration in 05-06. |

| As much as I would love to write an essay about this at 8:30pm on a Saturday night, I just can't get over the fact that in almost 10 years Theresa hasn't got her head around this. 10 years, a ing decade! |

| Like I said... I am not claiming ignorance. I know enough about the whole thing to have my own opinions. I just want to know what other people think about it and how the perceive the whole thing. I am also playing a bit of devil's advocate for interesting discussion purposes. |

Ahhh... so this was just a big dick swing to say
"we are better than you, and your way is the wrong way, so you better change or we'll blow you up. Oh... and we're also going to take your oil.
Kthxbye. lol"
? |
I'd say it was more of a 'If goes down in the Mid East, Iraq and Afghanistan would very useful to have on our side, that and our oil bros could get some nice contracts" The whole westernize thing would just be so they like us and buy our products |

They could have just sent McDonalds and KFC franchises there, then just come back in 5 years when they're all morbidly obese or dead from clogged arteries.
Plus, fast food profits, much better than spending $0.5mil on a guided missile to blow up a $3.00 hut, launched from a 4billion dollar ship! |

Take it from another American. We're in there cuz the rich need to be richer, and the poor must become poorer. All this talk about bringing democracy to the region is bull. More contracts for the rich, and more dead bodies to bury for the poor. |
