Knowing you solely from this forum, words are all we've ever exchanged, disregarding a handful of photos or so. But with this - I simply don't have any words save for sorry and my condolences.

It definitely gets better but the first 4 months were really bad for me. I think when we did a BBQ in his memory and his family was invited - it was very therapeutic for all of us.
I would write on his fb page every monthly anniversary. I always kept him in my memory and did things I had never done for him. Things he liked.
That is all I can suggest. I felt like seeing the dj's he liked and having fun at the things he and I would normally have fun with - would help me. Also, someone once told me I would never forget the memories I had with him and I just stopped crying.
It really sucks losing a friend because sometimes we are closer to them than any sibling. They end up becoming family to you. Much love to Lira - also to Eric who also just lost a friend to cancer. |
