I bought a grip of pre 5pm tickets because those were the ones they released at first, how packed does it get?

Can I cut in line? It works everywhere lol

I've seen mostly Angello solo as he seems to make the most trips to NYC, over the past 3 years now. And as time goes on, the set lists do get more predictable and stale, but guess what, they're some of the best parties I've had the pleasure of attending. And I too can be quite the music snob but there's a reason they have a bar, it's a party, and sometimes there are DJs that have more to offer than their eclectic music collection. I have all week for that.
I don't give a if they still play One, because the place will be going off.

this.

just saw seb ingrosso this past saturday - just recovering my voice now!

i'm going to eat a ton and get there early and drunk that way i can beat some of the crowd, get a good spot in the front and party all day :tongue2

I was talking to a buddy of mine and kinda guessed the location :D ... few hours later I get a text about the announcement. It makes sense. Ultra held about 10,000 peeps @ the beach, only reason was the growth of the fest. SHM @ The beach it's a win in my eyes..great location, vibe will be great too. I wonder how much of an impact this is or will have on Ultra if any on Saturday.

I think this event is definitely going to hurt Ultra. I think the venue is amazing. Who wouldnt want to spend the day during this week in the sand. There must have been some major strings pulled to get this venue. I am excited to hear how everything turns out for this one.

I think they just planned it super early. I remember him tweeting something last spring about how they were already putting together this years party. Also makes sense on why he made such a stink about the WMC dates moving cause I'm sure this was all well booked.

doubt this will be on the sand. i mean the whole arena yes but i think the actual dance floor no. i think for the halloween one they had wood floors so im hoping its the same for this too. also hoping its still covered and air conditioned. if not thats gonna suuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

i hope they put the wood floors and A/c in like they did for Halloween. It was a very well laid and executed plan (minus the ing line)

Wow this looks like a great party - I'll be too washed up from going out Wed-Fri nights to consider making anything during the day on Sat though (And actually be able to enjoy myself) - I hope you guys have a great time :D

Oh for the people that said this will hurt Ultra...I mean how can it? Ultra is 95% sold out or w/e and I would assume it will be sold out before the date.

$_$

this is seling out. ultra is selling out.

EDM in america right now = huge cash cow.

anyone want to make a promoting company with me and book pauly d? bahahah :stongue:

If you bring EDM out of 18/21 and over events, then yes, it can be huge cash cow. Much money is lost when the kids under 21 are cut out of the equation.
PatMcGroin
wantickets now lists this at 8th and ocean. so there ya go.

in the case of this party, what are you talking about. Me personally, I love 18 up and all age events so everyone can experience it. Buttttttttt................... This party is almost sold out and everyone in attendance will be able to purchase alcohol. Your logic is very flawed for this event

i hope they mean the arena is just on the sand. :p if not . i really hope they put down the wood floor. i dont exactly want to deal with sand everywhere all day. and if there is no wood floor does that also mean it wont be a closed off arena and be open air instead with no ac? again i hope not. they did say "custom built arena" so im thinking its still the same as halloween or atleast really hoping it is.
