There are a ton of enterances, looks like the lines will move fairly smoothly.
No one is at will call right now, took me 2mins to pick up my tickets.
I want to say that a large portion of the crowd isn't going to be inside the tent.
People were begging me to sell them the tickets I picked up, and actuall offered me way mote then what I am selling them for :(

Ohhh and the best deal is...that you can see the party for FREE!!! The view from out side the fence is the almost the same one that all the people that aren't inside the main tent have lol

it feels like there is AC under the tent, i wonder how well it will work when it's packed.
Also, there aren't hard floors, but it looks like they removed loose sand, or packed it down. the ground looks pretty solid even though its sand.

Well this event became a total disaster like everyone predicted. Got there at around 8 and they were not letting anyone in. What a ing waste. Probably no chance I'll get my money back from wanttickets for the 3 tix I bought either.

I watched this from the dunes outside with like 500 other people. It was a mini rave on the beach, pretty awesome. The party looked completely sick. I caught most of the SHM's set and it was pretty good....the normal stuff, some new, but they had the place jumping.

I went to the restrooms at around 6PM and they weren't letting anyone in, ANYONE!.. I asked the security guard why and they said it was full capacity inside. HE said it was gonna be a couple of hours before they were letting anyone back in.. not sure what ended up happening. That sucks.
Party was good.. Calvin Harris, Dirty South and of course SHM did it for me. I could have gone without everyone else heh. Pete Tong did a pretty good warm up set for SHM.. I somehow ended up next to that walk-way in the middle. The energy in there was wasy good! ! ! good times.

"Someone" shut down the party.
Steve Angelo threatened someone (that I will leave anonymous) that he would do something DRASTIC if they did't turn the music back on for one last song.
Notice in the video where he is scrambling all over the place, he was PISSED that shut him down.
Also notice that he TURNS the monitors for US after they turn off the main music...he was doing anything in his power to keep the party going!

Yea I saw that.. I hanged out a big longer and saw him talking to the cops.
Why would they shut @ 9 when prior nights they played till 9:30 ?

This party was such a mess. Got there @ 4:30 just in time for they to stop letting people in. Things got ugly from there. We were near the front and after about 30mins people realized they might not be getting in. People were yelling to shove and rush the gate. Some dumb bitch was talking like 'people might get hurt but who cares blah blah.' Just insanity. They then wanted people to step back from the gate (dumb) which only caused people to get worried and try rushing forward. And then a few minutes later a rush for the gate did happen. We bolted towards the ocean at that point. We saw some people getting cuffed after that. Security was swapped out for cops. It was maybe 6:30 at this point.
We were then off to the side of the line contemplating our options, trying to get ahold of a friend who worked for the production company of the party. At some point though something must have happened as there was a huge stampede away from the gate. Not sure if they started spraying pepper, but we got pretty scared as we were right at the edge of the gate near the ocean side, near the ticket pickup for those that were there, and a few hundred people started sprinting right at us :nervous:
After whatever that was cooled down and the people dispersed we walkted along the ocean side fence. Some people were successful in digging and lifting the fence and sneaking in between porta potties. We thought about doing this right before we saw others but didn't want to risk being arrested or having the group get split over a ing party.
Near the water some fight must have broken out. I think the story is some cop tried detaining a guy for unknown reasons and a girl tried to stop him and then a crowd formed kicking sand onto the cops. Everyone was obviously upset with 'the man' at this point. We got the hell away from that whole side 'rave' going on but did later see the cop getting treated by ems for some cuts on his forehead and a guy and girl walking away in cuffs.
We went around read and tried every non-dangerous idea or connection but NO ONE was getting in. (Seriously, we saw Lange get turned away at the executive entrance later. He was obv confused and in the nicest way tried to explain 'I'm a DJ, I run a recored label. Just ask anybody in there.'). Some people with tables were still getting in so it wasn't 100% lockdown but I think it was supposed to be.
We finally gave up @ 8:15 thinking people would get back in. (Though a friend claims he showed up at 7:30 at the front line and they were let in after half an hour or so) We were trying our luck at the back VIP and must have missed it by minutes. When we walked by the front again before giving up they had barricades still chained to the gates. They had chained all the gates shortly before the mini-stampede much earlier.
What looked like thousands of people in the line didn't get in. One kid we met was waiting since 1pm. Surprised not more people have mentioned anything. Though I'm getting the feeling that TA isn't really a popular forum for Miami Music Week discussion. Still waiting to hear anything about refunds.
