the same thing happened to me on the second set of tickets, i think its that way across the board on the second release |

since the 2nd release of tickets was 'an attempt to reduce scalping' aka 'wow we can make some extra $$$', it seems logical they made the tickets will call only in an attempt to reduce the # of people that buy them and try and sell them. |

Lucky for me, this second set wasn't a set I was selling but why did wantickets give us a tracking number?
I had a drink wristband I purchased on the first release and paid to have it shipped, they refunded the $12 on it and made it will call only. They never gave me a tracking number |

I'm sure the change for the VIP/open bar ticket was at the request of the people throwing the party.... WT would not make that change on their own... they just do what the party promoter tells them to. |

| Ok so got a reply from wantickets. Seems they are waiting for the promoters to approve. What I want to know is approval for what. I bought it before it was sold out. I just hope I get to enjoy the show. |

i got an email back saying:
"Hi,
Unless noted otherwise, all will call tickets are picked up at the event venue when doors open. Please bring your id, credit card, and receipt printout." |

You can also login to your Wanttickets account. They have a tracking number for your orders. My tickets apparently arrived today in San Francisco and are currently "On FedEx vehicle for delivery". :) |

Like nomad980, I have a tracking number, it shows no status updates. They have not been shipped yet, I know one more person this is happening to.
edit: i just got this follow up e-mail from wantickets

A warning to anyone traveling Monday or Tuesday
My ticket was just picked up by Fedex and it is showing it will be delivered March 22nd, it was picked up today, not last night like wantickets tried to say |
