| did anyone try to buy tickets again this morning? (I forgot to check) but looks like its $65 again but did it start with $35? |

Yes, I got 2 tix for Saturday @$65ea. On my PC, there was a screen showing "tickets are not on sale yet, please check back later." My iPhone went straight to the ticket buying page, however, and they were $65. Also checked Live Nation and they were $79. A few minutes later, the "come back later" screen went away, and they were $65 through GT on their desktop site as well.
I think this was the opening price for tickets, and that whatever earlybird tix offered were for Friday only. Anyway, I'm going Saturday...for the number of DJ's there, awesome venue, and great crowd I'm excited to have a ticket after last week's sell out fiasco! :) |

| They definitely used a different system today, where you submited your order but they didn't try to process it until later. I just got my confirmation email a few minutes ago. |

That's weird, my confirmation was instant and I printed the receipt within a few minutes of ordering. I bought them using my iPhone though, as the "come back later" screen was still showing on my PC until about 10:05. Maybe mobile orders went right through and desktop orders into a queue?
I have mixed feelings about the Saturday ticket: I'll have more energy from not having to work all day like Friday, but a lot of my friends are going Friday so I won't see them there. I'm also one of the "$35 Friday ticket in the cart but can't buy it" people, so A&B's well-intentioned early bird notification wasn't of any benefit.
All that said, glass half full: Either night should be a great night of music, and if you really wanted a ticket, I think it's possible for everyone to get one now (who can afford it, that is). :) |

There was a screen to enter all info, no option to log on using GT account, no name and signature block either, and after entering the info I got this:
Your Transaction was Successful!

What's next?
Once the payment is processed we will e-mail instruction on how to download your receipt. It may take up to 24 hours before we send you an e-mail.

Again, weird. I got a login screen and signed my digital sig using my finger on the iPhone screen (which wasn't possible months back, they appear to have upgraded their mobile app). This is the email that I received at 10:03 am:

Then, I went to "Purchase History" and printed my ticket ASAP to make sure that I wasn't dreaming after my awful experience one week earlier, and my receipt printed successfully.
Maybe they slowed down automated repeat requests from the same ISP address or something, but not for mobile users? |

Womp womp. We will miss you. Would rather go Saturday but don't want to deal with selling our Friday tickets etc. |

ugh, yeah, they started at $65 for Sat, no cheaper option. i also had my confirmation e-mail sent to me later in the afternoon.
i'm going both days. screw it. i'm not going to LV for LoveParade or EDC, so this will have to suffice for me. |

I kinda rationalized the same way. Not going to EDC, not going to Love Parade, Nocturnal, etc.. So I don't mind as much paying what amounts to about $70 n change per ticket to see Above & Beyond.
Hell, after hearing their set during the week from Miami and their ASOT 500 set, I am pretty happy with that compromise :happy2: |

Damn, tix for Saturday are still available. Am I crazy for thinking about buying a hard ticket for $79 from Live Nation, exchanging for a Friday hard ticket and going both nights?
I am going to EDC, LovEvolution (if the "rave" gods are willing), and Ibiza. So far, I can't rationalize it, as I'll be seeing A&B in Ibiza too (for the Group Therapy release party!)
I obviously need some group therapy here... |

| I actually bought 2 extra tickets for my friends on Friday...but if they don't pay me would you want to buy it for how much I paid for? One of them is pretty trustworthy but it's still awhile till May |
