Yeah, they could probably sell out an entire week at the Palladium, I'm concerned about being able to get tix for Saturday. I'm afraid that Above & Beyond have been discovered.

Jono, Tony & Paavo, I'm sure it won't happen, but please don't start wearing sunglasses everywhere and playing hip hop... ;)

Above & Beyond are apparently HUUUUUUUUUGE in Los Angeles..

Good point. I didn't see any scalpers last December. Unlike October for Kaskade. Of course there, was no line when I went there for A&B but the line for Kaskade went all the way to the Sunset exit.

1) The adding of the second night should be nothing new to anyone here. It happens with music events of all kinds.

2) I do think it's 1000000000% jacked that you all had the issues you had with GT this morning. It's bad business for both GT and Insomniac. Or is it? You all still sat back and were OK with paying the $65 versus $35 still. Don't blame Insomniac on that one. No one put a gun to your head. :)

Poor decision by groovetickets to allow a 10 ticket limit on an event they know is susceptible to scalping given it's popularity the last time above and beyond were at the palladium. I paid 80 that time so il take 60 but groovetickets should wisen up a little.

Why should they care, as long as they sell out the event?

There were scalpers selling tix for ~$60 back in December.

So best bet is to not buy tickets and just buy for $60 from a scalper!

Because it will lead to their eventual demise, look at AOL...

Please don't say that. lol.

I've been a sucker for buying tickets way overpriced in the past. I've complained plenty! We've all been suckers at times. It's just a part of loving EDM. Just gotta realize that it's your choice to do it in the end, and as long as you (I, and everyone else) keep being suckered into buying tickets at the prices they are sold at, it's going to keep going. And if I were Insomniac or any other promoter out there, I'd do the same thing. That part is business in the end.

i totally agree. after trying to buy the $35 tix, i caved and eventually bought the $65 ticket just because i'm really looking forward to this show. my problem with the whole scenario is the scalping. these tickets should have been priced at $50-$60 at the get-go if that is what the market is willing to pay for them. the fact that scalpers are playing ticket arbitrage means that they're scraping off a portion of revenue that should have gone to the artists and/or the promoter. the scalper is adding no value to the equation, yet still profiting, and it boggles my mind as to why promoters continue to allow this to happen.
