| And there customer service sucks as well. Been on hold for 45 minutes. And they only have 1 song that repeats. Is this run out of someones garage? Done with this event. |

$65 for tix is nothing compared to what scalpers are going to sell them for, especially since its a sold out show.
Theres nothing wrong with the pricing, but Groovetickets should have been on top of their . |

used firefox at 10 AM. stuck for 30 minutes with errors
tried at 10:30 with ie. got tickets in one go.
weird.
edit:
if you keep refreshing groovetickets, tickets are available. just got another ticket a few minutes ago. |

seriously that's what it seems like.
i think this time scalpers got a hold of the hype and f'd it up for all of this. for tatw 350 i had no problem getting $35 tickets right when they went on sale. either there was a sudden influx of above & beyond fans or a sudden influx of scalpers..HMM. |

NEVER BUY TICKETS FROM SCALPERS AROUND THE PALADIUM!!!!
I have spoken to MANY people that get assed out for buying tickets from scalpers at triple the cost. |

Same happened to me
Started at 10AM sharp and that's when problems began,
couldn't load site, then couldn't load checkout, when checkout
Did appear it wouldn't actually check out my timer timed out had to
Redo and tix were at 65 + service fee, could not process, could not process
Could not process, then finally worked |

Got the email for the early bird tickets that stated they there going to start at 9am. Got on right on 9 ... but the site said 10 so went back. Greg had them in the cart for 35 and had all the errors and then they went to 45.. then more errors. They where now 65!! He was still having problems.
I got on the lab top to try. I had problems but got tickets for 65!! Did anyone get them at the starting price???? 65 was a little steep but I love love above and beyond and really wanted to go!
next time I think I am going to plan to make a trip to see them at Marquee! after is all said and done I am sure it would have been cheaper! |

this was 100% a groovetickets issue. their servers just couldn't handle the stress, and their phone line was busy every time i tried to call (not to mention the 20 minutes i was on hold w/ customer service after that listening to royksopp 'remind me' on repeat).
there was either too much natural traffic or, more likely, scalpers using bots which overloaded the purchase server. groovetickets doesn't have the system (the annoying one that makes you type in a random phrase that you can't read) to screen the bots out that ticketmaster/livenation have.
oh well. everywhere i go... there's always something to remind me |
