armin fans should vote with their wallets and not go -- or tweet armin bitching about it so he works with different promoters. that's assuming, of course, he hasn't upped his fee fourfold in the last year.
letting 4 hours become the standard 'extended' set is as preposterous as charging 85 beans for it. |

i dont think armin or made or anyone for that matter will do anything about the set length to be honest
but trying to express our fustration and dissapointment with the fees is, imo, a fantastic way to go. I mean....maybe they wont listen...but we cant bitch if were not willing to ADDRESS it
i wish more people would contact made and DL and Armin...kindly and maturely and calmly....
again...might not go anywhere but you never know until you try. and honestly a closed mouth is no license to complain!
in fact:
Here are the contact infos

| lol the only way the price will get lowered is if they don't sell enough tickets, but of course armin will sell out. you writing and complaining does nothing |

if this gig sell's out it's good news and bad news...
good news is that the demand to see armin is def there and to find him a bigger venue which will probly mean lesser ticket price to fill the venue
bad news is that besides roseland there arent much bigger venue's
maybe they can have him do 2 night's back to back like he did in the past and ticket prices will be lower
who knows |

its time for an Armin Only at MSG or something..maybe New Year's Eve..like Tobacco Warehouse did so good and that was pretty much 15 hours of Armin in two days and ppl still talk about it..blows my mind why they wouldnt do something like this every year..to me McCarren Pool was crap compare to TW..assuming they wanted to compete on a global basis with festivals so they did EZoo..idk but bring Armin Only to somewhere else in the states besides LA |

i have no doubt that they will sell out..or very close to.
you have no idea if writing does . just as i have no idea....
so....let me restate for you- doesnt hurt...at least we can say we tried.
close minded individuals are starting to drive me nuts atm. |

honestly todays armin only show's arent the same
sort of like tiesto in concert...look at the tracklist's from the first one to the ones of today
a good 40 to 50% of it is just his "hits" and the rest is just all the current asot favs, he just dont keep it underground no more at his gig's...just the hits
the first armin only it's unreal i still listen to it
it's just not the same anymore...TW was a once in lifetime thing
armin is too big and commerical for it
mccarren was actually not too bad, in 2007 it was ok but in 2008 i had a blast but mccarren is getting turned back into a pool so that's out |

| am i the only one who thinks this is not gonna sell out? tickets went on sale 3 weeks ago and advance tickets are still available. |

it ain't gonna sell out -- even they announce it has, it won't be.
like hellosam said it doesn't hurt to fire off some polite, well-written emails or tweets to armin and his manager on behalf of his fans (maybe even a form letter or a petition): worst case, you get ignored; best case, the 4 hours turn into more or the tix aren't bananas next time... |

C'mon....you're kidding yourself if you think Armin was ever "underground". TW was no different than his current sets. |

go back to his livesets from 2002-2006
and count how many times he was whoreing out his productions and the same cheesey songs
he def sold out...tobacco was good music wise but def not his best set i will admit that, that was more about the vibe, location, crowd etc |
