I heard a recording of the set. He played CJ Bolland - The Prophet somewhere in there. Not sure where tho. If I had to guess it would be #42 or 46.

yeah man absolutely gutted. should have gone too. you can only keep trance alive agreeing to pay $86 cover and eating ecstasy filled with cheese.

you need to take the writing and stick a pic of Armin at Roseland in there lol

There is no doubt Armin has had a huge influence over trance. He used to be one of my favs for many, many years!! no one is arguing that Armin never did anything for trance, that would be absurd ;)

Think about it like this: People who listened to Wu Tang Clan, loove the certain typa vibe, the flow, the style. But if, in 2011, they start rapping some Lil Weezy-type , do you think that their fans are going to come to the club to pay an enormous amount to hear they dont like? Nopppppeeee!!! They are gonna be pissed that Wu Tang lost its direction. New fans may like Weezy, but the orginal fans are gonna shake their damn heads about what they are seeing happen to the group that MADE hip hop for them. Change is good for some people, disasterous for others: Ya feel me?

Perfect analogy

wow I remember when Tiesto opened up with this at the Docks in Toronto in 2003, one of the most epic sets and nights EVER. Pure chillz and goosebumps for hours and HOURS!!!! Probably second best set EVER, only to Armin at TW. I need to find that set, because I KNOW its recorded!!

 :eyes:

There was also an insane breaks remix of this from like 04 or 05. I dont remember who did it, it's driving me nuts.

I know exactly what you are talking about in my head, but no idea what it was called. Here is the list of the releases, do any of these sound familiar?

oh c'mon guys. i never said armin's was good trance. if you read all my post i never ever said i liked him. his selection has been too fluffy for me since the begging of his career.

i tried to listen to his ASOTs but they are boring. I'd rather listen to Markus Schulz radio show then armin's

all I'm saying i am grateful of his positive influence of the trance community. He united people when trance was hitting a rough spot.Hence i feel kinda bad not supporting him, even though the money will go to Made.
