I dont think hes trying to prioritize one better than the other, hes just stating fact about how the genres are treated within the US. Without Armin having an actual radio show on US soil, the only way people learn about him is through word of mouth, and thats not a big enough medium, although with the advances in social networking, its definitely helping the growth of dance music.

Lost respect for who? Its painful, but its true. With the ridiculous success of Jersey Shore, everyone wants to get on his jock. Its not to say hes a good DJ or anything, but it goes to show how quickly you will gain fame after being on a popular TV show.

I know, but the point of the discussion was who is a bigger draw, and Pauly D, because of the JS fame will be the bigger draw. Clubs will book him because they KNOW people will come.

Pauly D will draw all those fake tittied sluts in string dresses, and the juice heads will be there sniffing them out.

Well then "the bandwagon " works well here lol im definitly not one of those hoppers !

and yes, I painfully agree that Pauly D has been packing places. It is what it is. I have never heard him play live, so I cant judge on if he is good or not. You never know!

For Pauly D though, its not so much about the music anymore, because he draws a particular crowd, a crowd that (I believe I can assume) most of us would prefer not to be around.

seriously, how is pauly d a big draw than armin? the guy is playing venues that holds 300-500 people.
